It is not necessary for a student to be a Christian in order to be admitted into Portmore Missionary Preparatory School.
In all cases, the new students is on probation for a period of one (1) year (or 180 school days); some students may be accepted
conditionally. The conditions will be prescribed by the Principal and/or the Chariman.
Portmore Missionary Preparatory School admits students of any race, colour, national or ethnic origin.
One way we could explain our admissions criteria would be to describe a typical student at our school. For example:
We
look for a bright, motivated student with a dedication to academics. However, we also want a well-rounded individual. Interests
outside of school are important, along with a strong desire to be involved in community events.
